Downloading Desktop apps
For on-premise installations desktop applications provide a good alternative.
To launch Ouva desktop applications, you need an Ouva account with active or trial subscription (no payment method needed for trial).
Recommended desktop hardware
A computer with following specs runs Ouva desktop applications at 60 frames per second. Press Shift
F
while inside the Ouva application to see the framerate.
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700k CPU 8-core
GPU: 6GB NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060,
RAM: 16GB

Subscribe and download
Visit app.ouva.co and log in with your credentials.
Toggle the sidebar via button on the top left, click on your profile and visit the
Settings
page. Click onSubscribe
button and enter your details. Credit card is not required to activate a 30-day trial.Return to app.ouva.co, click on the sidebar toggle and visit
Download for Desktop
to download the application available for your platform.

When you run the application by double-clicking on the executable, a prompt will ask for your Ouva account credentials. Enter your username and password and the application will run after a brief subscription check.

Click Always Allow on Mac
When you enter your credentials, Mac will ask to securely store your credentials. Click on Always Allow
to ensure you do not get asked again.

If you want to close the application, switch to the command-line window and press CTRL
C
keys and wait for the server and the Ouva application to close. Otherwise, you may receive an error.
Disable Game Mode on Mac
On some Macs, silhouette may appear slow while application running smoothly. This is due to Mac's Game Mode optimization that needs to be turned off. While Ouva is running, disable Game Mode by sliding back to desktop and pressing the controller button on the top menu. Afterwards, restart the program.
