What can you ask
Ouva is continuously learning from its interactions with people. As common questions arise, our team updates its knowledge base to respond to more scenarios.
Search for a location
You can search for a location in the facility in several different ways.
“registration”
“coffee shop”
“surgery”
“icu”
You can ask for a single location by its different names.
“icu”
“Intensive care unit”
Ouva will also understand your question in a sentence.
“where is the emergency department?”
“how do i get to the pharmacy?”
“take me to surgery waiting room”
Ouva will also do its best to understand your intent. For example:
“i’m hungry” will take you to cafeteria.
“i forgot where i parked my car” will take you to the garage.
“how do i register?” will take you to admitting.
Search by staff name
If you are going to a doctor’s office, you can search by the name of the staff. If set up for your facility, Ouva will navigate you directly to the office, otherwise it will take you to front desk for further help.
“Dr. Jensen’s office”
“I need to see Elizabeth Barnett”
Search by room number
If you know the room or suite number you are going to, you can ask Ouva for it.
“Suite 550”
“We’re going to room 226”
Search by building
If you are not sure you are in the right building, you can ask Ouva for it.
“Where’s the North building?"
“Spine Hospital”
Small talk
We understand that speaking to a digital assistant is a new concept to many. However, it is very common for visitors to see what else they can ask from Ouva. Therefore, we continue to expand Ouva’s ability to carry small talk with visitors.
“Hello.”
“How are you?”
“I’m feeling better, thanks.”
